The second session of the 122nd General Assembly is rapidly approaching — convening on Tuesday, January 9 — and Speaker Jay Lucas will gavel in the House for his fourth year.

Speaker Lucas spoke in Greenville on Monday to preview the upcoming legislative session.

 

 

Among the topics he addressed utilities, roads, state retirement, and education.
